Volunteer

Power To Play could not exist without the generous time donated by our volunteers. We need volunteers to run challenges, register racers, support logistics and many offer help in many other areas. Please get in touch with our Volunteer Coordinator, ptpvolunteer@powertobe.ca, to see how you can support our biggest and best Power To Play Corporate Challenge yet!

We currently need support in the following areas:

Build Weekend - May 19, 10:00am to 4:00pm

  • Assist with building the course and challenges

Set Up Crew - May 27, 7:00am to 9:00am

  • Assist with set up of tables, chairs, pop up tents, garbage bins, etc.

Event Assistants – May 27, 8:00am to 12:00pm, 12:00pm to 4:00pm

  • Assist in the registration tent or welcome tent

  • Help direct traffic and monitor road closures

  • Act as a grounds marshal – answer questions, help keep the site clean

Event Day Tear Down Crew - May 27, 3:00pm to 5:00pm

  • Help put away tables, chairs, pop up tents, garbage bins, etc.

  • Help dismantle and put away challenge materials

Challenge Facilitators - May 27, 8:00am to 4:00pm

  • Assist with taking materials out to your

  • Explain rules to teams if necessary

  • Monitor teams for challenge completion

  • Stamp team passports

Next Day Tear Down - May 28, 10:00am to 4:00pm

  • Help dismantle and put away challenge materials

General orientation for volunteers (Must Attended) - Friday, May 18th at the Vancouver Island Technology Park Board Room from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
